The Laos and Cambodia Package tour 11 days is made to visit the major cities and sites in both Laos and Cambodia. Here we will have the chance to discover the history, culture and daily lives.
Day 01: Arrival Vientiane
Today, the Laos and Cambodia Package tour 11 days will be started by picking up at the airport to the hotel for checking in (Check in time is at noon!). Enjoy a half day tour to visit the famous sites such as: The major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, Wat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Wat Prakeo. We also visit the national icon of Laos, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 02: Vientiane – Luang Prabang – Half day city tour (Breakfast)
Today, we will take the flight to Luang Prabang. Pick up to hotel for check in (Check in time is at noon!). After that, we will This morning you will be transferred to Wattay Airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. On arrival, you will be met by your Local Guide and transferred to your hotel. We will head off on bicycles to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of WatAham. Finally, climbing up Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 03: Luang Prabang – Cooking Class (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Optional: This morning you have the option and opportunity to rise early and participate in the daily morning ritual of ‘Alms Giving’, you will experience saffron-clad monks collecting offerings or ‘Alms’ from faithful local residents. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the daily procession. Next, we will enjoy a full day cooking class by starting at the local market where your chef will explain the different herbs and spices used in Lao cooking and purchase ingredients for today’s dishes. From the market you will head out to Tamarind Gardens Cooking School set out of town amongst fish ponds and tropical gardens. Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Day 04: Luang Prabang – Elephant Village – Kuang Si Fall (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, we will depart for Elephant Village to experience elephant riding through the teak forests and along the riverside. These elephants were once employed in the logging industry but now enjoy a much easier life in the village. Next, we will continue to visit the stunning KuangSii Falls where you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary, home to Asiatic Bears rescued from poachers in the forests of northern Laos. Return and overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 05: Luang Prabang – Ethnology Centre – Ock Pop Tok (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, we will visit The Art and Ethnology Centre to learn about the culture and history of some of the perse ethnic groups that make up the rich tapestry of the population of Laos. Next, we move to the Ock Pop TokLiving Crafts Centre & Shop, where you can see the silk weaving process in action and purchase some exquisite examples of traditional Lao textiles. End the day at Yen Sabai Book and Arts Centre where you have the opportunity to participate into a traditional Paper Stenciling class (only available Monday – Friday). Return hotel for Overnight Luang Prabang.

Day 06: Luang Prabang – Living Land Farm (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, we will visit the Living Land Farm, a working community farm aprroximately 5kms outside the town. There you will learn all about the rice growing process and have an opportunity to participate in seasonal farm activities such as identifying viable rice seeds, ploughing with a buffalo, hand planting, weeding and harvesting rice and threshing rice seed. You may be picking vegatables form the organic garden or catching fish to cook for your all natural, organic lunch where there will be a variety of local rice products for you to sample. Finally, return for overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 07: Luang Prabang – Siemreap (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we will be free at leisure around before driving to airport for the flight to Siemreap. Pick up to hotel for checking in. Overnight in Siemreap.

Day 08: Siemreap – Tour to Angkor Temples (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, in the early morning, we will enjoy the sunrise time at Angkor Wat, then start the tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now. Then we go to Baphoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of the Elephants that was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; to Terrace of the Leper King, another of Angkor’s mysteries. In the afternoon, we visit the World Seventh Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat- that stands as the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. In the evening we view the sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Accommodation in Siem Reap.

Day 09: Siemreap – City tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, after the breakfast, we will continue to visit temples including Prasat Kravan -with its unique brick sculptures-, Srah Srang , The Royal Baths was once used for ritual bathing, and Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, Eastern Mebon, guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation, and the Mountain Temple of Pre Rup. In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue to the temple tour. Visit Ta Prum, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prum has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, then, visit Takeo. Night in Siemreap.

Day 10: Siemreap – Silk Farm – Tonle Sap Lake (Breakfast, Lunch)
Today, after breakfast, we are on a boat trip to Great Lake Tonle Sap that is renowned for its basin of fresh water fish (10 tons/ 1Square Km in the 60’s). Visitors may also view the fresh water exhibition where we can see various kinds of fish in Tonle Sap Lake such as floating village and real style on the river. In the afternoon, we continue to visit Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe artisans making high quality wood and stone carvings from scratch to end-product, and then we visit Silk Farm, malpro tree field throughout produce processing of the production, where we can see the traditional silk making in Cambodia. Night in Siemreap.

Day 11: Siemreap – Departure (Breakfast)
Today, we will be free at leisure around. Check out at noon time and then drive to airport for taking the departure flight. End the Laos and Cambodia Package tour 11 days.
